HOSPITAL MOVES PATIENT REGISTRATION TO MEDICAL CLINIC

All patients, with the exception of surgery, should register at the RGH Clinic for lab, radiology and cardio-pulmonology rather than hospital.

PORTALES, NM, June 21, 2018 – Effective Monday, July 2, patients who need to be registered for labs, radiology and/or cardiopulmonary services are being instructed to visit RGH Clinic for registration. Previously, patients were able to register at the main hospital entrance.

This new registration flow is primarily to help alleviate wait times for patients and to coordinate with the hospitals’ anticipated department relocations, which will occur throughout the remainder of the year.

Patients scheduled for surgery will continue to register at the main hospital entrance.

Signage is available to help patients and visitors locate the medical clinic registration area.

Outpatient registration for labs, radiology and cardiopulmonary services are available Monday thru Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the RGH Clinic. The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only. Walk-ins are available during the week beginning at 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 10 a.m to 6 p.m. on weekends.

Roosevelt General Hospital is committed to providing comprehensive patient care for residents throughout Roosevelt County, New Mexico and its surrounding areas. RGH offers a 24/7 physician-staffed emergency room, full spectrum inpatient and outpatient services, general surgery, laboratory, physical therapy and respiratory services, along with digital mammography, X-ray and MRI.
